I know that there's a Leopard thread and all that, but this is getting really difficult to work with. It seems to happen mostly with long lists (that fill a page of screen real estate), but I'll go to a context and add a task... the program just hangs up.

If I use the hot key (command N) the File menu option highlights, then the program hangs.

If I tap the + sign under the list, same story, except that the little plus mark gets highlighted instead.

It isn't necessarily consistent. Quit still works with Command Q, and most of the time when I come back in it will accept my task, but it's making the program almost unusable.

I'm really not sure how you would expect users to follow you to iGTD2 if they turn away from iGTD in disappointment. This is the best GTD program I've found, certainly worth paying for, but not if crashing bugs cannot be repaired in a timely manner.

What I find really annoying with all of this is that we have all these problems with iGTD while iGTD2 is being dangled in front of us at the same time.

Does is make any sense even bothering with iGTD1?

I've been using the Things alpha from Cultured Code and I'm quite happy with it...can't even use iGTD as it is right now...

I've been toying with Things as well, and I'll admit - it looks very good. Repeating tasks and a good weekly review system will put that one squarely in front of the rest.

I just got myself all set up using iGTD and now I can't add anymore tasks. If I try to the app just hangs. I really really want to use this program but I obviously can't if I can't add a new task. Restarting the app and redownloading it did not help (I saved a backup first). Thanks for any response.
