iGTD Dead!

Postby amaloney » Mon Mar 23, 2009 2:37 pm

I conclude that iGTD is indeed dead.
See zeb's Anouncement.
It's a pity for these -

I concur.

About a week ago, I started looking at Things, The Hit List and OmniFocus, but some part of me kept hoping that I would see good news here.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, but I do want to thank Zeb for letting us know that development seems completely dead and those of us who were hanging on should probably begin our search to find a replacement.

Tom

Have you looked at ThinkingRock?
http://www.trgtd.com.au/

If so, what do you think?

I have really broken the news of the death of igtd project. If someone can serve in these days, I found this application which incorporates many concepts igtd, it's beta stage but development seems a little 'more concrete'.

I feel sorry for Bargiel I do not know what happened and I hope is good...

Hi Al,

I briefly looked at it, but never really tried it. Once I started using The Hit List, I never looked back. It felt very intuitive to me. Doesn't mean it would for everyone, but it works really well for my particular work flow.

iGTD is still in my Applications folder. The last date I opend it is Apr 3 2008.
Since then I'm using OmniFocus. It is fairly quick enough to use, sync well with iCal and my iPod touch.

Now I'm erasing the app.
Thank you for everyone's effort to keep iGTD alive, anyway.

Missing iGTD but ...
The browser based RTM is working for me now, it's free (unless you want to go Pro), you can access it from almost anywhere, is platform independent, and plays well with desktops and mobile phones
